My 7th Decade
I was just 70 and I thought ‘How can I celebrate my 70 birthday in style and raise money to support a couple of charities close to my heart and promote the NHS Organ Donor Register? I wanted to do something different. That was when I decided that as a peg upon which to hang my fund-raising, I would:
Run the Newcastle 7 Road Race

Canoe 7 miles on the River Severn
