Under the strap line Angela’s Just 70 Challenge and as a peg on which to raise money, I set myself seven challenges to be accomplished in seven weeks. I would run seven miles, walk 70 miles, swim a mile, horse ride seven miles, cycle 70 miles, canoe seven miles and climb seven ‘tors.’

I completed these challenges and raised £30,000. I donated £16,000 to the NSKPA, £3000 to the Staffordshire Transplant Association Family and Friends and sent two dialysis machines to Salma Dialysis Centre.

It was not easy to wind down at the end of the year and since then I have Wing Walked, Sky Dived, Zip Wired and Swum in the Serpentine in London for Cancer Research UK and with Sharks for Deaf/Blind UK.
